A downloadable game for Windows

In 66 Seconds to Save the World, 4 wizards have accidentally summoned a demon and send their best and brightest to find the spellbook which will let them banish it back to where it came from.

Just kidding. They sent Dave. No one has even heard of him until now.

In this game you will control Dave, who has 66 seconds to find the spellbook on an island or the demon will break free.  Will you succeed? Or will the demon break free?

66 Seconds to Save the World is a short RPGMaker Game made for the 24 hour RPGMaker RTP jam. No custom assets are used per the jam rules.

Hey there!
Of course you already know that I featured your game in my video, "RPG Maker Has A Terrible Reputation", but since that video had a dedicated topic to focus on, I never got a chance to play your game.
Well, today, I decided to take a look at a handful of games I found through the RPG Maker forums, and I felt I owed it to you to play your game proper (also the concept intrigued me anyways, so I wanted to give it a try regardless)
In summary: I liked it.
Here's the video. Check the timestamps if you just wish to skip to the time when I start playing your game.

Thanks for playing it! The spawn point is fixed for the game due to the time limit to make it, though if I expanded it I may make it random. Or add more levels. Or add some scripts too to improve it more as we were not allowed any scripts either in the jam.

PS: Full screen is Alt + Enter.

An nice fun one that shows the potential of the engine to make something short and sweet that can wrap up either a minute or ten.

This was a nice short experience. I enjoyed the game for what it was! I made a video with my experience. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for playing it! You are correct that we had to use the default assets, as it is a default asset challenge. Maybe someday I'll expand on this idea into something more serious and longer.
